Hello again, Marla here with some news. Wow, it’s 2026 already. Where does the time go? Here at Silver Rose Press, we’ve been very busy. We launched our publishing house at the end of 2025 and it’s been a whirlwind ever since!
I have been busy accepting submissions, answering emails and editing. Debi has been working to set up the business end of things and formatting books. And Donna has been creating beautiful covers.
We have at least one new release this month, possibly two! Watch for Helen Salyer Perkins’ Recipes from Momma’s Kitchen. Oh, my, I got so hungry while I was editing this book. There are so many good recipes. You’ll have to check this one out, for sure, it should be scheduled for release soon.
January 20th brings us Jessica Gold’s Ice Storm, a Young Adult page turner, with a little suspense, some romance, a mystery, and of course, all this takes place during an ice storm.
We’ve got several more books in the queue and we’ll let you know the release dates for those soon.
Merilee Franklin has a series started and the first two books are on the list, with a third expected later in the year. Jessica Gold has another one coming soon. We’ve just gotten some submissions from Jen Selinsky. New author, Alyssa Paige, has written her very first novel and we’re excited to bring that one to you. Yours truly is writing a new book, but writing time has been sparse lately. Can’t imagine why. Ha Ha.
We’ve also heard from a few other authors and expect their submissions in the few months, so 2026 is starting off with a bang!
