If you are looking to self-publish, but need some assistance with editing, formatting or any other aspect, the Self-Publishing Package is for you.  Once the package is completed, you will be sent your files or we can upload them to KDP for you.

With our Hybrid Publishing Package you will receive all services necessary to publish your book with Silver Rose Press.  Author will receive 75% of all royalties from the sale of their book.

Book-a-Teria Options

Authors who may not need our full support, but need certain options that they can not readily get, may want to choose from our Book-a-Teria options.

  • Editing: $150 for first 50,000 words and $50 for each additional 50,000 words up to a maximum of $300.
  • Formatting: $75 minimum to $200 maximum. Options include 6x9; 8.5x11; 5x7; or 8.5x5.5. $75 for first 200 pages then $1.00 per page up to a maximum of $200.
  • Cover Design: $150 Includes Cover, Spine and Back Cover. Blurb must be submitted by author.
  • Set up Amazon Author Page $100. Author must have at least one book published.
  • Upload: $50. We will upload your formatted book to KDP. Book must already be edited, formatted and ready to go. Cover/Back must be included.
  • Blurb: $20 We will write a professional back cover blurb for your book.
  • Author Bio: $20. We will work with you to write a professional Author Bio. Will include photo provided by Author.
  • Facebook Page: $20. We can set up your Author Facebook Page then it will be turned over to you to post and manage.
  • Other requests will be reviewed and priced accordingly
  • Formatting: $75 minimum to $200 maximum. Options include 6x9; 8.5x11; 5x7; or 8.5x5.5. $75 per page for first 200 pages then $1.00 per page up to a maximum of $200.
  • Book Trailer Creation: $50. We will create a short book trailer for you based on your work. The link can be used on social media, website, etc.
  • Silver Rose Press Annual EXPO: $75. We plan on holding an annual expo each year. Time and place to be announced annually.

Length to publishing will depend on the services requested, but in general we can publish a complete book in 6 months.

Yes, absolutely. It is your book and you will be involved every step of the way. Your approval is requested on each aspect of the process.

A Hybrid deal requires a signed 2 year contract. You can cancel after 1 year with 30 days notice and a $100 fee.

As soon as all requested publishing steps have been completed and book is approved by the author, the contract is over.

With the Hybrid Publishing, your book will be advertised on our Website, your photo and author bio will be on our website and you book will be on our Facebook page at least 5 times.  

The author always has the final say on any publishing aspect of their book, including cover design and title.  However, if we feel it is in the author's best interest, we will make suggestions.

In most cases, we can publish books in Paperback (most common), Hardback, and eBook.  We do not publish Audiobooks. Your book will first be released in Paperback and generally eBook about that same time.  If you want it also published in Hardback, there is an additional $50 charge for the ISBN, but no other charges will apply.

Most books are released within 6 months of acceptance.

Once accepted, your book will be assigned a professional editor.  The editing process can vary depending on the number of books in que and the length of the book.  Generally, we try to have a first draft back to the author within 3 months.

We will respond within 5 days letting you know that we have received your book.  After that, the review process begins and we generally let authors know when 2 to 4 weeks if their book is accepted.

Your fees are based on the package you choose.  That fee will include all of the items listed under that package.  You will never be required to pay additional fees unless you choose items from our Book-A-Teria cafeteria style section on top of your package.

Yes, if you choose the Hybrid Publishing package, both your book and your author picture and bio are listed on our website.  

We do not list authors books or bios who choose our Self-Publishing package.

Yes. If your book was previously published by another publisher, we will need a release letter from that publisher.  If you self-published, you may submit at any time.

As for the cost, you will not be charged for an entire package if your book has already been published.  We will, however charge some of the Book-a-Teria prices to re-edit the book or any other services that are required in addition to what has already been done.  This is on a case-by-case situation.
